The studio provides twenty-four hour access and is designed for visual artists, writers, photographers, and others whose work does not involve dust and toxic chemicals. Artists are encouraged to use headphones or earbuds as the studio environment is mostly quiet, aside from low-level tool noises. Access to the studio is facilitated via stairs from the parking lot, with two designated parking spaces available as well as free street parking. The building also features a freight elevator scheduled for repair in August. Shared amenities include a common workspace equipped with a table saw, worktable, vice, and additional tools, along with a coffee maker and microwave. Additionally, there are two bathrooms and a slop sink for cleaning needs. The studio can also be rented by the day or for shorter intervals, accommodating photographic uses and compatible needs.
