who this page is from
Fashion Week Venues operates this marketplace and the tools attached to it. This page is maintained by us and describes how we handle information when you browse listings, file an inquiry, or create an account. It is a description of our own practice, not an independent audit or certification.
what we collect
We collect only what the platform needs to answer you and to keep the marketplace usable.
- Inquiry details you submit: name, company, email, phone, city, dates, budget range, brief, shortlisted spaces and selected add-ons.
- Account details if you sign up: email address, and any brand website URL you choose to analyse.
- Brand profile data generated from a public website you supply, used to recommend spaces.
- Approximate location derived from your IP address, used to show the nearest hub city, local time and weather. We do not use precise GPS.
- Saved searches, shortlists and tool inputs (budget, ROI, timeline, permits) when you are signed in.
- Basic technical and performance data: pages viewed, referrer, UTM parameters, device type, and web-vitals timings.
why we use it
Inquiry and account data is used to respond to you, prepare proposals, and run the workspace features you asked for. Location and technical data is used to personalise the interface and to keep the site fast and available. Brand data is used only to produce recommendations you can see in your own dashboard.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your inquiry content to train third-party models.
email you receive
If you file an inquiry we email you a confirmation and follow-ups about that project. If you opt in, we send saved-search alerts, weekly digests and fashion-week countdowns. Every one of those carries an unsubscribe link, and you can manage all of it from the email preferences page.
who processes data for us
We keep the list short and name it plainly.
- Supabase — database, authentication and file storage.
- Resend — transactional and opt-in email delivery.
- Mapbox — map rendering on marketplace and city pages.
- Anthropic — the AI concierge and brand analysis features, on request only.
- Firecrawl — reads the public brand website URL you supply.
- ipapi.co — estimates your nearest city from your IP address. Only called if you allow analytics and personalisation in the cookie banner.
- OpenStreetMap and Wikidata — public data used for nearby-retail context. No personal data is sent.
- Cloudflare and Lovable — hosting and delivery of the site itself.
how long we keep it
Inquiries and their attached project data are kept while the conversation is live and for up to 24 months afterwards, so we can pick a project back up. Account data is kept until you delete the account. Aggregate, non-identifying analytics may be kept longer.
your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, export or delete your data at any time by writing to bookings@fashionweekvenues.com. See the GDPR page for the full list of rights and how we handle a request.
Cookie and storage consent is set the first time you visit and can be changed or withdrawn at any time from the cookie preferences link in the footer.
security
Access to stored data is controlled by row-level security rules, so signed-in users reach their own records and nothing else. Traffic is served over HTTPS. We rate-limit and gate parts of the platform to deter bulk scraping. No system is perfectly secure and we do not claim otherwise; if we become aware of a breach affecting your data we will contact you.
children
The platform is intended for business use and is not directed at anyone under 16.
changes
When this page changes materially we update the date at the top. Continuing to use the platform after a change means the updated version applies.
