gdpr and your data rights

What you can ask us to do with your data, and exactly how to ask.

last updated 31 july 2026

scope

We operate from Paris and serve brands across Europe, so we treat the GDPR as the baseline for everyone, wherever you are. This page explains your rights and how to use them. It describes our own practice; it is not a certification or an audit result.

your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to do any of the following.

  • Access — get a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — correct anything inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Erasure — delete your data where we have no overriding reason to keep it.
  • Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Restriction — pause our processing while a dispute is resolved.
  • Objection — object to processing based on our legitimate interests, including profiling for recommendations.
  • Withdraw consent — for marketing email and for cookies and browser storage, at any time, without affecting what came before. Cookie consent is withdrawn from the cookie preferences link in the footer.

how to exercise them

Write to bookings@fashionweekvenues.com with the subject "data request" and tell us which right you are using. We reply within 30 days. We may ask one question to confirm you are who you say you are, and nothing more than that. There is no charge.

international transfers

Some of our processors operate outside the EEA. Where that happens we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision. The full processor list is on the privacy page.

automated decisions

Brand analysis and space recommendations are automated, but they only rank suggestions. No automated process decides whether you get a space, a price, or a contract. A person handles every inquiry.

complaints

If you are not satisfied with how we handled a request, tell us first at bookings@fashionweekvenues.com and we will look at it again. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority; in France that is the CNIL.
